With everything working harmoniously, sex can be absolutely mind-blowing. However, some sex positions are far more enjoyable than others and different personalities, body types and whether your male or female contribute to which sex positions feel the best.

I know people who, for example, like it hot and heavy in bed, and they don’t mind if the person that they’re doing it with likes slow and sensual, so long as that’s what works for them.

I think the more people feel comfortable with the sex they’re having, the better sex they’re going to have—you can’t have great sex without great chemistry between the two people in bed with you.

Which positions feel the best?

Some positions feel better for various reasons and these reasons depend on many factors. For example, the woman in the seated position is less likely to be uncomfortable because of her pelvis, but more likely to have a harder time of orgasming.

Likewise, for a man, a woman sitting on top might be easier, men are more likely to feel better when they are on top because they can control the pace and how far down the penis goes.

I’ll also add a few other reasons why some sex positions might feel better. If you’re with a new partner, they may be very comfortable with different positions, or you could just be lucky and it’s easier with your current partner.

Also, you could have a bad back, or not have enough endurance to last as long. But this is rarely the case. There are a number of different things that could be causing you to orgasm less.

Doggie style

So, if you want to try a position that will help you both climax, it might be worth considering doggie-style.

While some women find it harder to orgasm from doggy-style because they can’t keep their legs as far apart, it’s important to keep in mind that any position that will help your partner reach orgasm is better than one that won’t.

This position is designed to give the woman the maximum amount of pleasure possible since it allows for a deep penetration of the penis and the woman can be maximally comfortable bending over and taking it hard.

The 69

The 69 position is not quite a penetration position, it is more of an oral sex sort of thing. But we’ve received many letters saying that this position can be the most exciting and pleasurable there is.

The position requires the man to be on top of the woman (or the woman on top of the man) with each of your heads facing the others genitals. You are now both free to pleasure each other to your hearts content while being simultaneously receiving the pleasure.

So many positions leave a lot to the imagination, but not this one. If you are comfortable being extremely close with your partner than this one is definitely one to try out.

Spooning

The spooning position is probably the most comfortable position around. This is because it’s not very complicated and requires very little effort.

Simply lay on your sides as you would if you were spooning in bed and go to town.

The man’s member will need to be reasonably long in order for this position to work the best, but even a less than average member should make for a very pleasurable encounter.

The Stand Up Against The Wall position

This position is similar to doggy style in that the man is having sex with the woman from behind, however the woman is only slightly bent over instead of all the way like in doggy style.

Again, for the man you have the same control and power that you do from doggy style which generally gives them a lot of pleasure. And for the woman, taking it from behind allows for much deeper penetration than missionary position.

This is a classic position in a shower when you are both slippery and wet and where standing up is a must. The position requires a bit of strength and balance, but it is really pleasurable once you get the hang of it.

The Reverse Cowgirl

This is another position that is made popular by porn movies which allows the ladies to do a bit of work here. The position is that the woman is on top of the man but turned around.

For the guy: it gives the guy a great view of the ass and allows him to control the speed more or less by using his hands to guide the hips.

For the girl: it gives her the control to go as fast or as slow as she wants while also getting very deep penetration.

Notice a pattern for pleasure within women? Most women feel the most pleasure while having sex from behind because the penetration can be even deeper that typical front facing positions.
